ConfometRx

ConfometRx, a California-based company developing tools for structure-based drug development, hired me to design and develop their company identity and website. I started with the logo—a graphic representation of the structure of a specific receptor— and designed the website to complement the simple curves of the logo. The site is standards-compliant, and is built with valid XHTML and CSS; a custom PHP-/MySQL-based CMS is in the works.

Value Forms

Value Forms, a company offering web-based e-commerce and business products for retailers, contracted WireMedia to design a website and logo for their company. I headed the project, creating complementary logo and website designs that were simple and corporate, while remaining bright and inviting. To be standards-compliant, the site is quick-loading and accessible even to PDAs and cell phones.

Goodwin Simon

WireMedia was hired to design a website for Goodwin Simon, a west-coast strategic research firm. As most of the site is text, we chose a unique color theme for each page to enhance the visual appeal of the site without detracting from its clean, professional look. The front-end is made with valid XHTML and CSS, and I built a user-friendly, custom PHP-/MySQL-driven CMS to edit the site's content.

Kobilka Lab med.stanford.edu/kobilkalab

Kobilka Lab

This website was designed in 2002 for the Kobilka research lab at Stanford University. It serves as a general source of information about lab research and publications. The site was designed and coded to be simple yet stylized, and compatible with older browsers (in the academic community, research often takes precedence over browser upgrades). The code has since been upgraded to a simple, table-based, valid XHTML Transitional layout with CSS (with appropriate respect for standards) to give a clean, elegant presentation in modern browsers, and to retain its basic layout in v4 browsers. The splash receptor graphic was modeled and rendered in 3DSMax.
Note: The front splash page is still being reworked to make it more forward-compliant.

m2post

a Manhattan-based post-production and design studio, specializing in broadcast graphics for television and sports teams. I worked closely with the designer, Maria Rapetskaya, programming and assembling the site from start to finish in Flash and HTML. The site featured company information as well as an online portfolio of their client work, including Quicktime movie clips.
